I finished my part-time job in the evening and got on the night express bus from Seoul at 23:30 p.m. I can’t fall asleep quickly because I don’t feel comfortable sleeping. Just getting to sleep, it’s a halfway stop. After some sleep, I am in Seoul. I went to the sauna bath in the basement of the High Speed Turminal and slept for about two hours, ate a banana and a nutritious gingko for breakfast, and met my junior who first participated in the half-course at the subway station and went to Gupabal. After attending several marathon races, I can see quite a few people with front faces.

From now on, I shake my arms vigorously thinking that if I run, I’ll be back in 3 hours and 30 minutes. An unexpected event occurred here. My left shoulder felt as if it was going to fall out, and after a long break, I suddenly tried to run, and both my calves and my left toe began to cramp. (In fact, I was a little embarrassed because it never happened during practice.) I had no choice but to walk cautiously. After going like this for about 1km, the calf muscles are relaxed to some extent, and the left arm is attached to the body and the right arm is stirred to reach the 35km point, and the water supply stand comes out. I sat down after drinking a glass of water. After taking off shoes and socks and taking a long break from the water bath to get rid of the pain in the left foot, I looked at the clock and it was 3 hours and 20 minutes.
We have about seven kilometers left, and we don’t know when we’ll get to the finish line when we run and walk.

After getting up, getting back into shape, I ran lightly, and now I was able to run to a certain extent. I picked up some speed. After finishing the finish line with all my might, it took me about 3 hours and 59 minutes to 4 hours. I wish I could run 10 more kilometers..

On the way back, I met the lady who gave me kimbap, and I said that I finished the race thanks to her, and she was very happy and applauded me. It’s great to be able to see this a lot and get close to each other when we attend a marathon. Just give without asking for anything, rejoice together when others are happy, and gladly help if there are difficulties … I think one of the most beautiful places in the world is here to run a marathon.

Next year, we will end the story of another failure, hoping that the Ultra Marathon, which runs through Kaesong to Pyongyang, will be held.
